| Description of the problem | On 10/18/19 at 7:20 am i started my 2015 f150 with 27k miles via the autostart system as the outside temperature was around 35f and there was front on the glass. My truck was in my driveway, facing north towards the street. When i approached my truck after in n for under 5 minutes i could smell a burning odor. I opened the truck and the smell was stronger. When i look around i saw that the rear window was completely shattered with a hole where a section fell into the bed. I contacted my ford dealer and the service tech stated he never heard of this and they could replace it for approx. $1400. 00. |
