Description of the problem	On a major highway in elk grove illinois during rush hours. 45 mph . Outside temperature was 27 degrees above zero. Road was wet with salt from previous snow fall. Windshield was collecting heavy spray back from other vehicles in front of my truck. When applying windshield washer the washer failed to spray. Resulting in a very smeared and heavy road dirt on windshield. It was very frightening to not being able to see in front of me. I was unable to pull over and clean the windshield manually at that moment. This has happened twice this winter and i found this to be very threatening to properly maintain safe driving under these circumstances. This only happens when below freezing and there is -35 below zero washer fluid in the reservoir i have made an appointment at a ford dealership which they have a bulletin repair on this. No accidents because of this yet. I believe in putting up the guard rail before the vehicle runs of the road.
