| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford f-150. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle suddenly decelerated and would not gain speed when the accelerator pedal was depressed. During the failure, the messages and warning indicators for the hill start not available, traction control, and check engine displayed and illuminated. After shutting the engine off and back on, the vehicle operated normally; however, the failure recurred two days later. The vehicle was taken to jemmims anderson ford in boerne, tx where it was diagnosed that the throttle body was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
