| Description of the problem | While using adaptive cruise control mode at highway speeds both day and night my vehicles forward collision avoidance system has mistakenly applied the brakes suddenly reducing the vehicle speed abruptly. Night time instance was going under a expressway overpass center lane no other vehicles in area. Day time in hov lane and moderate traffic flow but no one within ten car lengths. Only 1000 miles on vehicle. I have deactivated the adaptive cruise control in vehicle settings. Vehicle just outside of production date of recall. Two purchased new 7/28/2016. To be reported to dealer. |
