Description of the problem	For years ford has had a problem with the heat/ac in their pickups. The heat will stop on the passenger side and will blow nothing but cold air. This is the second f-150 that i have had with this problem. It is caused by a faulty blend door actuator. Instead of ford correcting the problem by designing a new actuator, they continue to replace the defective part with the same part that will eventually fail. This is extremely dangerous for older people or those with young children. There are numerous complaints on the various internet help pages. Ford is making a lot of money replacing this second rate part because the complete dash has to be removed just to replace the actuator. It is very expensive and some, such as me, cannot afford tp pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,000 for this repair just to have the new part fail.
