| Description of the problem | I have a ford f150 lariat that is not 33 months old, however i have 49k miles. I had to replace my moonroof (out of warranty because of the mileage, which should have nothing to do with the moonroof). That cost me $2,155 in september 2017. On 4/17/18, my replacement made the same awful sound and is broken again the moonroof makes a loud cracking sound like it will break. It then gets stuck open or closed, but sometimes not fully closed. You have to push it with your hand while pushing the button sometimes to get it to seal shut in the case of rain or overnight. There is a lot of research on this and this is quite regular for ford moonroofs. They should recall and reimburse me for the $2. 1k i spent. |
