| Description of the problem | Doors will not latch closed when temperatures drop below freezing. I had my vehicle brought into the dealer earlier this year to replace the latches and install the door gutter. Today was the first frost since that work was completed and the doors would not close once again. Fords fix to this issue does not work. I have been asked to bring my vehicle in again so they can replace the latches again. I attempted to call ford to let them know that their fix is not a permanent fix. This morning my door flung open getting on the highway. While i did not fall out i suspect it is only a matter of time and ford needs to find a real fix to this problem rather than waste time on a solution that has proven itself not to fix the issue. |
