Description of the problem	Driver side door fails to remain latched after closure. After closing the door (and the vehicle registering the door as closed), i began driving and leaned against the door. A short distance later, the door unlatched itself and opened. I had to pull over and open/shut the door several times (and lock/unlock the locks) to get it to latch properly. Ford has issued their own notice offering a voluntary door latch inspection and replacement; however due to the potential danger the self-opening door placed me in- this should be a mandatory recall for all fords with this type of latching mechanism on their doors. I was on a road with a 30 mph speed limit when this incident occurred and was bucked-up (luckily).
