| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford f-150. While driving approximately 40 mph, the steering wheel began to make a clunking nose. When driving over a bump or rough terrain, the contact felt the vibration in the steering wheel. In addition, the vehicle would veer to the right. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the tires needed to be rotated, and the clockspring and steering column needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the failure was common; however, there was no remedy. The approximate failure mileage was 9,000. |
