| Description of the problem | 2015 ford f-150 3. 5 ecoboost 47900 miles. Started my truck which was stationary, low reservoir light came on and brake pedal went to floor, total failure. Looked for external leak and found none. Added dot 4 fluid to fill line and watched it disappear. Had my truck towed to my ford dealer and they verified brake master cylinder leaking into brake booster. 1500 dollar repair. Dealer said upgraded parts were installed but nobody wanted to discuss the failure. Could have been worse i i was headed to the mountains today. |
