Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford f-150. While driving approximately 30 mph, the brakes failed and the brake pedal extended to the floorboard when attempting to stop the vehicle. The message "brake fluid low" later displayed on the instrument panel. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the brake fluid reservoir was empty. After refilling the brake fluid reservoir with brake fluid, the brakes continued to malfunction. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (pearson ford, 10650 north michigan rd, zionsville, in, 317-873-3333) where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder and brake booster were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 58,000. tt updated 10/15/18jb
