Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford f-150. While driving 55 mph, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to stop. The contact also stated that the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard. The contact was able to safely stop the vehicle by letting it coast to a stop. Also, the brake fluid low warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was towed to i-77 ford (3315 charleston rd, ripley, wv) where it was diagnosed that the sealant failed in the booster cylinder and both the master cylinder and booster cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000. tt consumer stated since the brake failure on 7/10/18 and completed repairs on 7/17/18. Also, since an i77 mechanic told me that i may lose the catalytic converters because the brake fluid went thru them, i traded the truck on 7/28/18. Updated 10/15/18jb
