Description of the problem	I had a warning on the dash display that the brake fluid was low. I figured i'd check it out after i got home which was only 6 miles away. I continued to get on the freeway (303 in az) my brakes seemed normal. When i started to exit the highway i needed to brake to merge with traffic and the pedal went all the way to the floor with no brakes engaging. I tried to pump them and got minimal brake pressure in my panic. I swerved to the shoulder going around 60 mph to miss traffic in front of me. I slowed and stopped at the light and very slowly with very little braking made it home. Took it to firestone and had them look at it. Master cylinder failed is what they were able to find for a cause. Replaced it and works as it should now. If this is a known issue with f-150s it should be addressed. From what i've read online, it is. My truck only has 44k miles and shouldn't need a master cylinder replaced. The wrong person behind the wheel having this happen could of led to a very serious collision. I'm grateful it didn't with me.
