Description of the problem	3. 5 liter v6 ecoboost sudden and complete loss of braking ability without warning brake pedal going to the floor with sudden and complete loss of brake effectiveness brake warning lamp illumination and low brake fluid level comes on after complete loss of brakes, slowed down with emergency brake luckily at low speed added 1 quart of dot4 brake fluid brake warning lamp illumination and low brake fluid level disappeared brake pedal went to the floor with sudden and complete loss of brake effectiveness brake warning lamp illumination and low brake fluid level did not come on until after brakes failed i did not have an accident but it was close. Took to shop with complete brake failure. Truck has 39000 miles. The vehicle was on a city street when the brakes failed. No fluid was detected under the vehicle even after adding 1 quart of dot 4 brake fluid and the brakes failed again.
