Description of the problem	With the vehicle stopped, the brake pedal slowly fades to the floor when applying a firm steady pressure. At this time, there is no apparent loss of holding power once the pedal has faded. With normal driving the brakes work and the vehicle does stop. When the pedal has faded to the floor it can be brought back up by pumping the pedal. Testing has not been done to determine the amount of holding power that remains or to validate what would happen in a hard-braking scenario. The problem was first noticed on 3/17/2017 and is completely repeatable every time it is checked. The dealer has agreed with these observations but has stated that ford will not back a replacement of the master cylinder because it is working.
