Description of the problem	I was driving the vehicle when its diagnostic system reported "low brake fluid". I pulled into the closest gas station and checked brake fluid level. It was almost totally out, so i purchased 2 small cans and filled up brake fluid reservoir. I had just had the vehicle into the dealer for its scheduled maintenance, so it was odd that brake fluid was low. No external leaks were visible. I drove another 5 miles, and the diagnostic system reported again, "low brake fluid". I pulled into another gas station and rechecked the brake fluid reservoir. Again, it was almost totally empty. I could not detect a visible brake fluid leak, but could smell brake fluid in the engine bay. I parked the vehicle, and called the dealership to see if they were still open. They were about to close. I restarted the vehicle and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I called a tow truck and had the vehicle towed to the dealership. While attempting to park the vehicle in the dealer's lot, i had no braking capabilities. Dealer diagnosed the problem as a defective master cylinder. Repair was done by dealer by replacing master cylinder and brake booster. There was an approximate 30 day delay in repairing the vehicle because there is an existing recall on 2014 ford f-150's for defective brake boosters, and ford was back ordered on the parts. I just picked up my vehicle from the dealership and it was successfully repaired.
