| Description of the problem | The truck will, without any warning, just basically cease to run. Engine will shake, truck will quit moving under its own power, and several service advisories will come up on dash suck as "service downhill assist, service traction control", and a few others. I stop, put in park, turn off truck, restart, and it will be clear and will go again. This has happened 5 times and is currently being looked at by a mechanic. 3 times has happened on roads with very light traffic. Twice, while getting on interstate. Truck has 87,000 miles. |
