| Description of the problem | While driving my truck (typically at moderate speeds - 20 - 30mph) it will suddenly reduce rpms to about 500 and the speed will drop to around 5 mph. Simultaneously with that occurring i will receive the following warning indicators "hill start assist not available" then another warning "hill descent control fault" then another warning "service advancetrac" then "see manual". This happens typically while accelerating and has occurred on city streets as well as while merging on a highway on ramp (bad situation). The resolution is to turn the car off an let it sit for a second then start it and drive slowly. This is widely documented across the internet with no identified cause and constitutes a severe safety hazard. |
