| Description of the problem | When accelerating, about 90% of the time the vehicle will get warnings for "hill descent control fault" and "advance track service". When this happens, the vehicle will not accelerate anymore and starts slowing down. This has happened to me twice getting onto the interstate in the past month but luckily no vehicles were coming up behind me. This is a huge safety issue though that ford needs to recognize and fix. The dealership said they have no idea what is causing it but everyone online says that it's likely to be the steering rack. Recall the steering rack because this has apparently happened to a lot of people. |
