| Description of the problem | I just returned from my ford dealership today after my f-150 stopped cold and went into limp mode while i accelerated up a hill on hwy 78 in red lodge, mt. The dash lit up with a hill descent control and several other error messages. This would have been catastrophic if i had been accelerating while passing. The forums are full of similar problems and dealerships know they need to replace the throttle body. This should definitely be a safety recall. |
