| Description of the problem | While traveling at 65 mph on the interstate, the truck went into "limp mode" and i almost lost total control of the vehicle on both occasions. This happened two times during the same trip. The accelerator wouldn't work, power steering went out, and all stabilization control systems went down. I had to pull over a p2112 code was read from the check engine light. The problem is from a faulty throttle body which many, many consumers have reported. Ford denies responsibility. This truck cost $63,000 and has 40,000 miles on it. The failure of this part is causing widespread risk to drivers and should be forced on ford to replace with a lasting part. |
