| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford f-150. The contact stated that her middle brake light located in the center of the rear window had started to melt due to the bulb overheating inside the brake light. The contact stated that the headliner had been damaged due to the melting brake light. The contact took the vehicle to kenny ross ford(104 black hill rd, adamsburg, pa 15611) where she was informed that they could only replace the light bulb with the same type of lightbulb that was originally placed inside the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure where they gave her a case number, they offered no further assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000. |
