| Component | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM |

| Description of the problem | Electrical power connector for rear sliding window defroster broke at its attachment (factory soldered) point to the rear sliding widow glass. This leaves the defogger inoperable and eliminates rear visibility due to fog/frost/ice build-up. Vehicle is just out of its 3 year warranty and has less than 28,000 miles. I have spoken with ford customer service. Ford motor company service is unwilling to recognize/correct the factory defect and claimed to have no knowledge of similar issues for the 2015 model. This defect is apparently similar to that which ford has recognized for similar 2013 models, issuing a technical service bulletin (ford tsb asi-32259) |
