| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford f-150. While driving approximately 70 mph, the push start button was touched and the vehicle shut off while still in drive, causing the vehicle to slow down in the middle of traffic. The contact was able to pull over and restart the vehicle. The contact tested the failure at various speeds and the failure recurred. The contact spoke with the dealer who stated that there was no recall related to the failure; however, the dealer also stated that the cruise control needed to reprogrammed and further inspection was needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,000. |
