| Description of the problem | I took my 2014 f-150 in for a standard oil change and tire rotation only to be told at the end of the day that the lug nuts were swollen and that ford could not take them off unless i purchased new lug nuts. Furthermore, the ford technician advised not buying lug nuts from ford as they will eventually fail again. Ford customer service will not take any action to assist in the manufacturing defect. This is a safety issue as a normal tire iron will not be able to get the current lug nuts off and could leave my family stranded without any options in the event of a flat tire. |
