| Description of the problem | In september of 2016, i pulled into delacy ford in elma, new york. I was there to inform the dealership that the rear sliding window defroster was not working. After shutting of the vehicle, and exiting the vehicle, one third of the window blew up. I was informed that apparently ford was having a problem with those windows. The window was replaced under warranty at no cost well for the last year i have been having problems with the rear defroster. It is not working. Apparently this is a very common problem with these windows. They would not replace it unless i paid for it. $1800. If there is such a problem with these windows why is there not a recall ?? |
