| Description of the problem | The backup camera works intermittently. When placed in reverse, the backup screen that displays the image from the camera is blank. The vehicle's transmission shifter has to be placed back into park or placed into neutral, then back into reverse for the camera screen to display an image. This occurs when stationary or moving. This problem began just after the purchase of vehicle. Dealership replaced camera, but problem still occurs. Relying on the camera screen to function when needed and not working, created a near miss on hitting a fixed object. |
