| Description of the problem | Remoted started my f150 as i normally would in the morning. Entered the vehicle to hear cracking, looking in my rear view and noticed the rear window shattered. Smoke was coming from the lower corner. Enter the truck bed to get a better look and the rubber in the lower corner was burning and melting. Shut truck off. It appears the rear defroster malfunctioned and could have caused a fire. The truck is at the dealership now. No recall and they did not take the issue very seriously. |
