| Product type code | VEHICLE |
| Description of the problem | Initial startup, vehicle is cold. Steering has binding occurring that increases and decreases as the wheel is turned in either direction as i am driving, as it is turned from full left to right, or right to left. It requires substantial force to continue to turn the wheel to get the vehicle to go in the desired direction. As vehicle warms up, the force required to turn the wheel lessens, but still requires significant force to steer in either direction. If it became necessary to make an avoidance maneuver, it may not be possible due to the force required to steer the vehicle in the necessary direction. This has been occurring for about a week. |
