| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. While driving 70 mph, the brake fluid warning indicator illuminated. The contact depressed the brake pedal, which failed to engage. The contact veered to the shoulder of the road and applied the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. When the contact turned the vehicle off and back on, it resumed normal operationg. The vehicle was taken to zeck ford (4501 s 4th st, leavenworth, ks 66048, (800) 394-1650) to be diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. The dealer stated that the brake master cylinder could possibly be the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: cas-22333089. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000. |
