| Description of the problem | While driving along a city street the brake fluid level low message came on while at the same time the brake light lit up on console. At this point had i had no brakes. Depressing brake pedal to the floor board only marginally slowed the vehicle. I was able to get it to a safe location without incidence. The dealer mechanic found the master cylinder had leaked and fluid drained into the brake booster. They replaced the master cylinder and booster. The vehicle only has approximately 29k miles. |
