| Description of the problem | While driving, an unexpected downshift into first gear causing the vehicle to slow down suddenly without warning and the rear tires may slide or lock, increasing the risk of a crash. This is the exact same issue that ford issued a recall on for the 2011-2012 f150's. There are many issues i have read about recently with other people and this issue will likely kill someone before anything is done. Imagine driving 75 on the interstate and it shifts into 1st gear out of nowhere. This will cause an accident with the potential of death to one or more people if you cannot control this vehicle. |
