| Description of the problem | Almost had several accidents due to a downshift into first gear while driving at approx 55 mph. The truck downshifted into first gear, rear wheels locked up and i was barely able to get it off to the side of the road. I see on the internet that this has been happening to many ford f150's. Saw a recall for the exact same thing but it only applied to 2011 and 2012 ford f150's. All owners felt that their year vehicle should be included in recall. I feel that the 2014 should definitely be included in the recall. My 2014 is doing exactly what the 2011 and 2012's have been recalled for. I only have 60k highway miles on this truck!! Below you ask for dates of this happening. It has happened many times. The dealership has ignored this. I will post the most recent date that it happened. |
