| Description of the problem | Intermittent problem with truck not starting. Took truck to ford dealer and they said they will need to installl a fuel pump fuse relocation kit. I asked the reason why and was told that this fuse will continue to short out until the kit was installed. Truck is three years old and fuse location or some problem exists that will shut down fuel pump. No recall and no warranty? Truck would not start for me about 10 to 15 different times. I'm glad the fuse did not short out while driving. No damage other then my time and $330. 00 for diagnostic and repair "kit" from ford. |
