| Description of the problem | While accelerating up a hill traveling about 45mph the vehicle suddenly lost power and went into "limp home" mode. Fortunately i had enough momentum to make it to a side road as the country road had no shoulders. After shutting off the engine and restarting, everything ran normally again. Potentially very dangerous situation. Online search points to possible issue with the electronic throttle body. |
