| Description of the problem | 2014 f-150 3. 5l ecoboost. Engine will completely lose power and go into "limp mode" with orange wrench. Dealer claims they cannot retrieve problem code so i bought a obd scanner and dtc code reads as p2112. This is the second time i will have to get the electronic throttle body replaced. The first time the truck had approx. 62,000 miles on it, this time it has approx. 111,000. This is absolutely ridiculous. Both times this part has failed i have had my entire family in the truck and have had to literally dodge semi trucks and other cars nearly causing serious accidents to make it to a safe shoulder. Waiting for a factory recall, i will not let this go. Im afraid to drive this vehicle at this point. |
