| Description of the problem | F150 repeatedly lost all acceleration and power. The truck went into a very limited low power state and many near collisions were narrowly avoided as the truck rapidly lost all acceleration and glided to a stop. A red wrench symbol appeared on the driver display stating a "mechanical" issue. This happened 50 plus times on surface streets and 10 plus times while on interstate highways under normal driving conditions. This issue got progressively worse over a two-week period culminating in the throttle body assembly being fully replaced. |
