Description of the problem	Driving in heavy 5 lane traffic at about 50-55 miles an hour, in the 3rd lane from the right on i580 east. I accelerated to get into the express lane and when i was starting to merge suddenly there was no power. It didn't matter how much i pressed the gas pedal it had no power. The engine was still running. I had to quickly signal and coasted to the shoulder of the freeway. There was a wrench icon on the dash and a warning that the truck was stuck in 4x4. I turned off the engine and after reading the manual, i started the truck and all seemed fine until i tried to merge again and again no power from the gas pedal. I had the truck towed to a ford dealer.
