| Description of the problem | I was driving down the highway with my rear defrost operating. I smelled something burning that had an "electrical burn" smell. I thenheard a loud "pop". I looked in my rear view mirror and saw that my rear driver side back glass panel (sliding glass window) was shattered. This was especially concerning because my daughter was seated directly in front of the shattered glass in her car seat. I researched this problem and saw numerous issues with the rear window defroster in this model of truck. That explains the electrical burning smell. |
