| Description of the problem | Wheel lug nuts are two piece design and swell over time due to corrosion making it difficult to remove with the factory supplied lug wrench in the event of road side flat tire. This vehicle only had 45k miles and wheel could not be taken off at road side with lug wrench. Design is problematic and we request the manufacture to recall lug nuts or issue a field campaign to reimburse owners who have already had to replace them. Truck was parked when attempting repair. |
