Description of the problem	Rear window defroster/outside door mirror defrosters are inoperative. Problem was fixed while under warranty at 34,164 miles although also failed again when out of warranty. While not positive, problem could still be faulty electrical contact design on rear window sliding center glass as previous failure. Malfunction creates a safety issue as frost blocks rear visibility both from door mirrors as well as rear window. Dealer notes rear window assembly must be replaced but without manufacturer cost coverage assistance.
