| Description of the problem | One of the vehicle's rear windows (the 1 rear window closest to the drivers side; there are 3 rear windows in total) was shattered with no apparent impact point. It was a cold morning and the vehicle was started with the remote start option from the key fob. The vehicle was stationary, parked in the driveway, and had not been moved prior to noticing the shattered window. As the vehicle door was opened, i could hear a "crackling" which resembled the sound of static. I was able to see the shattered window, and it it sounded as though the window shatter was spreading. There were no holes or dents in the window, and there was no "circle" of shattered glass that would resemble an impact point. The last time the vehicle has been driven, the day prior, the window was not shattered. |
