Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford f-150. While driving various speeds, the wrench icon displayed "major malfunction" and the vehicle stalled without warning on numerous occasions. The contact stated that the vehicle lost complete throttle control. Ken garff ford in saint george, utah 84770 was made aware of the failure, but could not find the source of the failure. An independent mechanic diagnosed that there was a short in the ecm board in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and referred the contact to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000. bf consumer stated no place in the carfax even show's when consumer brought it in to service. No mention they replaced the short block when a piston shrank in cyl no#3 they replace the long block in march 2017 three weeks back in april now to replace head's engine still had a miss two weeks after that they had to replace throttlebody the light still comes on they can not fix problem.
