| Description of the problem | On 12/31/18 i was operating my vehicle listed in this complaint. While operating i had the rear defroster activated. I arrived home and backed into to my driveway. While reversing i heard a loud pop come from my back window. The entire window was shattered. The window sets in front of the truck bed and did not come into contact with any foreign object. On 1/5/19 while getting the window repaired chafing was found on the defroster wires on the broken window. I called ford, they advised this was a common problem with f150s but it did not have a recall. I should be reimbursed for my expenses since i did not damage the window. This was not a cheap fix, the shattered glass was popped out from the inside. |
