| Description of the problem | Pulling into a parking lot, just after traveling on the 65 mph highway, my steering wheel locked and kicked back hard injuring my left thumb. The steering wheel would not turn at all. The truck remained operational otherwise but the steering remained locked. A warning message appeared saying "power steering failure". Had to have the truck towed to the dealership. I have research the hundreds, if not more, complaints and safety issues with the f-150 steering and this needs to be addressed by ford as this will, if not, cause serious bodily harm. This is the last ford i will ever own, period. They do not stand by their inept electronic components and customers are paying the price. |
