| Description of the problem | While driving the steering wheel becomes extremely difficult to turn. This happens intermittently and so far has not killed anybody. I reported this to the dealer when i had the transmission shift programming recall done, and the service advisor wanted $130 + 10% shop supplies + tax to check it out. I am still under extended warranty, but he said if their were no eroor codes related to steering and if the steering shaft was not bent, there was nothing they would do for me. I declined to pay because the problem happens intermittently and cannot be reproduced on demand. This happens mostly when making a turn from a stop stop sign. |
