Description of the problem	When driving approximately 20+ mph and turning to the left, the steering wheel intermittently gets hung up when returning to center and takes some effort to get it to continue on. This only happens on left turns, no issue with right turns at all. The issue started being noticed approximately 8 months ago, but seems to happen more often now. Took it into the ford dealer and was diagnosed as an epas (electronic power assist steering) system that needs to be replaced. This is not a typical part that wears out and repairs are estimate at $1800. Vehicle only has less than 60k miles when problem started. In doing some research, this is not an uncommon problem with this make and model & can lead to serious injury if system completely fails while driving.
