Description of the problem	2013 ford f-150 platinum truck. I got in my truck and pulled out of a parking lot. I was about to turn and get on the interstate. A car was in front of me and when i mashed the brakes the petal was stiff. There was a noise coming from the brakes. It seemed. I was able to move to the side of the rode before striking the rear of the car and come to a stop. I then proceeded slowly to an empty parking lot. I got out and walked around the vehicle and looked under the hood. No leaks that i could see and the brake reservoir was full. I drove around the parking lot and mashed the brakes several time and then it went back to working. This has been happening on several occasions. I see a recall but it is not for my vin. Why? This is a very serious safety hazard so why is ford not taking this serious. I have been in the fire service for 31 years and have seen the outcome of brake failure. This is not good.
