Description of the problemI replaced my breaks (all of them front and rear) in august of 2014. Not even one year of owning the vehicle and only about 13,000 miles. They would shudder and shake when i applied the brakes. Ford told me it was not covered under warranty and it as "normal wear and tear." fast forward, july of 2015. The breaks are doing the same thing again. Shuddering and shaking. I again take it into ford, and they are telling me the rotors are cracked and i am going to have to replace them. Within a year and now at only 27,000 miles. They asked me if i tow a lot or heavy items. I told them i have never towed anything and only drive the vehicle 3 days per week. Ford had no explanation of how it could have happened; however, again it is not covered under warranty. Breaks/roters are not covered! At 13,000 and at 27,000 there is no reason any breaks or roters need to be replaced. I owned a 2002 ford f-150 and did not need breaks until 70,000 miles. There is a problem!
