 Description of the problemTl* the contact's wife owns a 2013 ford f-150. The contact stated that his wife received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v433000 (power train). The contact's wife took the vehicle to griffin ford-lincoln, inc (511 7th st w, tifton, ga 31794) to have the recall repair performed. The contact stated that immediately after having the vehicle repaired, the rear tires would lock up without warning while down shifting. The contact would pull over and restart the vehicle to resume normal driving. The contact also stated that while slowing down at various speeds, the vehicle independently switch into a higher gear with the check engine light illuminated intermittently. The contact's wife took the vehicle back to the same dealer where she was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The contact then called the manufacturer and was offered no further assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.*dt*jb
